And then there was light...

OK, I know it's been a while since my last post...I don't want to bore you with the actual day to day stuff. Let's see, what has happened since May 30th? I went on a trip to the UK, fell in love, got married, pregnant AND gave birth to twins. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!!! Right...I've been working on several BJD face-up commissions. It's a crazy, mixed up BJD world and I'm glad to be a part of it. I'm so very happy that people find my work pleasing to the eye. (One moment while I strangle the kid next door.....)
OK I'm back..For those of you who don't understand the whole commission thing...people send me their dolls (or just the heads) and I give them a new face. I do this because I know it's difficult for people who are not artistically inclined, to work on their own dolls and frankly, some of the default face-ups are a bit...well...plain. My face-ups are dramatic! I don't apologize for that. It's not for everyone. I like the dolls with a little pizzazz...So here is a before and after shot of the last commission I did to give you an example. Not so innocent looking any more is she?
Last night it was dinner with a friend at Black Angus...baby back ribs and their Sky High Mud Pie for dessert! Awesome! Today, it was movies with my sister...we saw the Lake House...I don't normally go in for chick flicks but it was KEANU after all. (Drool)...Back home to start work on another commission. Life is OK...! Oh, and a special congratulations to my nephew Clint for his recent marriage to Shannon.
Rant for the day:
Why does all the music in this decade sound the same? All these new bands sound alike...they have weird funky names but boring tunes. I think we need a new music revolution...like when punk came on the scene and shook things up. Later!
